Nel panorama musicale italiano, “Saíhs” è una delle formazioni jazz emergenti più riconosciute a livello nazionale. Il sestetto, nato a Firenze nel 2023, ha ottenuto il Primo Premio nel Concorso per jazz band “Chicco Bettinardi” nel febbraio 2024 e, nel luglio 2023, il Primo Premio del Concorso per gruppi organizzato dall’Eddie Lang Jazz Festival. “Saihs” ha inoltre partecipato alle fasi finali dei concorsi italiani per jazz band più importanti quali: Conad Jazz Contest, Premio Isio Saba, Barga Jazz Contest, Fara Jazz Contest, Nu Jazz Contest e Onyx Jazz Contest. La band propone un repertorio jazz di brani originali, che ha come riferimento le sonorità del jazz moderno e contemporaneo, e di arrangiamenti di standard della tradizione jazzistica. Nel gennaio 2025 il sestetto ha vinto la prima edizione del Premio "Alberto Alberti" di Perugia, con il quale ha ottenuto la produzione e la pubblicazione del disco d'esordio "Distopia" per conto della GleAM Records. In the Italian music scene, “Saíhs” is one of the most recognized emerging jazz ensembles on a national level. The sextet, founded in Florence in 2023, won First Prize at the “Chicco Bettinardi” jazz band competition in February 2024 and, in July 2023, took First Prize at the group competition organized by the Eddie Lang Jazz Festival. “Saíhs” has also made it to the final stages of some of Italy’s most prestigious jazz band competitions, such as the Conad Jazz Contest, Premio Isio Saba, Barga Jazz Contest, Fara Jazz Contest, Nu Jazz Contest, and Onyx Jazz Contest. The band performs a jazz repertoire of original compositions, drawing inspiration from modern and contemporary jazz sounds, along with arrangements of traditional jazz standards. In January 2025, the sextet won the first edition of the "Alberto Alberti" Prize in Perugia, which awarded them the production and release of their debut album Distopia, under GleAM Records.
